General conditions

We will do our very best to offer you a place to stay according to your preferences.
However should you not be happy with our offer of accommodation, you may refuse this offer and we will try to find you an alternative. You will receive a maximum of two offers from us.

If you refuse both offers for (suitable) accommodation, you will loose your registration money of € 300,-. Your deposit money of € 325,- will then be transferred back to you by international bank transfer.

We work on a ’first paid, first served’’ basis. As soon as we receive your payment, we will put you on our waiting list.

The later you register and pay, the less likely it is we can honour all your preferences. You may then be offered a shared room instead of a single room, a room which is more expensive or a room which is further away from your University or the city centre. Should you get a ‘’second best’’ offer, it means your first choice was no longer available.

If we cannot offer you any accommodation, we will refund your registration costs and your deposit (total € 625,-) by international bank transfer.

 If you do not show up or cancel your accommodation after acceptation, you will loose your deposit money of € 325,- at the Housing Office. This amount will then cover the loss of income of the landlord for keeping a room reserved for you. Or this amount will then cover the loss or income for a room which we kept reserved for you.
