How to apply for accommodation?

Please fill in the application form on this site. On the form you can let us know your favourite accommodation, how much rent you can afford and any other preferences you may have.

In 10 steps this is how to apply for accommodation:

1. Go to the application form and select your faculty and contact person.

2. Fill in the form and send it. You will now receive an email from us.

3. Confirm your email address by clicking on the link in this email.

4. Your application form will now be forwarded automatically to your contact person of your study programme.

5. Your contact person will check your application form, approve it and send it to Housing Office.

6. Housing Office will send you an email for the payment of your registration fee of € 300,- and a deposit € 325,-.

7. After we have received your payment of € 625,-, we will email you to confirm this.

8. One or two months before your arrival in Groningen, you will receive an offer for a room or apartment from us.

9. You need to accept this accommodation by email to us.

10. Please let your student manager or your landlord know when you will arrive.
