Housing Office offers furnished accommodation in Groningen to foreign guests, who come to study or work at the University of Groningen (RUG) or the Hanze University of Groningen (HG).
Housing Office can find you a single or a shared room in one of her 10 International Student Houses. Also we offer large single rooms with or without private facilities and apartments or houses suitable for couples or families with children in the private housing sector of Groningen.
In general Housing Office accommodation is decorated and furnished. All International Student Houses have facilities to cook and in most of our rooms or apartments there is an internet connection available. Specific details can be found on this site.
Earlier arrival before 1 September 2010
For those of you who will rent a room in one of our International Student Houses from 1 September 2010, you may arrive earlier with a maximum of 4 nights from Saturday 28 August as there are welcoming ceremonies from 1 September for RUG and Hanzehogeschool students. Please note that this is only possible when your room is not occupied in August (you must email your student manager!). The costs are € 10,- per early night. From 1 September you pay a full month rent.
