How to change your departure date?

It is possible to change your departure day after signing a rental agreement. Please note there is a minimum stay of 5 months and a maximum stay of 12 months.

If you would like to stay longer, for example 7 months instead of 5 months, please let us know 1 month before the original departure date of your agreement and before the 1st of the month.

If you would like to stay shorter, for example 6 months instead of 10 months, please let us know 1 month before your new month of departure and before the 1st of the month.

How to apply for a bedhop?

If you want to move to another room in your house or to another International Student House of Housing Office, you can apply for a bedhop. Bedhop requests are dealt with on a first come, first served basis.

A bedhop is always per the 1st of the month and only if your preferred room is available. Costs are € 75,- per successful bedhop. It is not possible to bedhop from a private sector room to an International Student House room or visa versa.
