How to pay your rent?
You pay your rent directly to the Housing Office by (international) bank transfer. Also you can put cash money into our bankaccount at ING bank, Hereplein 51 in Groningen (between the city centre and the Central Train Station).
It may take some time to arrange a bankaccount. Therefore most students pay their first rent in cash (see above). This will cost you a small fee.
Unfortunately it is not possible to pay rent at our desk. Rent should be paid before the first day of the coming month. Your first month's rent may be paid directly after you have arrived in Groningen.
Always mention (1.) your Housing Office registration number, (2.) your name and (3.) your address code, if you transfer money to us!
