Moesstraat is one of our oldest International Student Houses, located in the nord of Groningen between Zernike University area and the city centre. There are 27 single room and 8 shared rooms, there is 1 room for our student manager and 1 guestroom. In total you live with 43 foreign students from all over the world. It is near a very nice park and there is also some outside space behind the building.
Per person there is a single bed with a mattress, a pilow and a duvet, a wardrobe, a table and chair, desklights and wastebins. Sometimes there is extra furniture like an old sofa or side table left by other students.
There is one big common room and one big kitchen with lots of cookers, fridges, freezers and cooking utensils (pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc.). All is shared by 43 students. There a several units with showers and toilets in the corridors and there are washing machines and dryers available.
In the common room there is a television, there is no tv connection in your room. Bikes can be put in a bike shed. There is no parking space for students' cars. If family or friends come to visit you, you can book the guestroom of Moesstraat. This will cost you € 10,- per night.
It will take you approximately 10 minutes to bike to the city centre and 10 minutes the other way to Zernike University area.
Rent per month all in: single rooms between € 298,- and € 353, -, shared rooms € 277, - per person including wireless internet. Rooms vary in size from 15m2 up to 25m2.
