International Student Houses
Housing Office can find you a single or shared room in one of her 11 International Student Houses. Our student houses can be found all over the city of Groningen. From North to South and East to West. We hope you can find a house of your preference where you can have a great experience in Groningen. All International Student Houses have facilities to cook and in most of our rooms there is internet available. Next to the size of the rooms the houses also differ in the number of students that can live there. In our smallest house there can live a maximum of 40 students and in our biggest International Student House can live a maximum of 340 students. Some rooms have private facilities and others don't.

Our accommodation will be in general furnished as you will come from abroad with nothing else then a suitcase. In the International Student Houses there will be standard furniture, more information can be found at the specific buildings.

Private sector
Next to our International Student Houses we also mediate in the private sector, where we have four different categories. Not only we have contact with landlords that can offer a room in a Dutch student house but we can also help you with finding an apartment for you and your partner.
 
In the private sector we have contact with several landlords. Some of them offer us their accommodation through out the year and others are Dutch students going abroad themselves. Those Dutch students offer us their rooms for the time they will be abroad. We have devided the private sector in four different categories.
1. Single room with shared facilities.
2. Single room with private facilities/studio.
3. Independent apartment/flat suitable for couples.
4. Independent apartment/flat suitable for couples and families (with children).

Accommodation will in the private sector be in general furnished as you will come from abroad with nothing else then a suitcase. The landlord decides what will be available. When we offer you private accommodation we will describe what kind of furniture will be present.
